Belgian “FRONTIER BULLDOG” Revolver in .44 W
With Neat Molded Monkey Grips
Here we present a Belgian “FRONTIER BULLDOG” Revolver in .44 WCF, made circa 1899 in Liege, Belgium. This full-sized revolver was made in Europe for export to the U.S. market. It is chambered in the very popular and practical .44-40. It is a double action revolver with “FRONTIER/BULLDOG” marked on the top strap and “C.F. 44 W” on the barrel. The grips are hard rubber and bear the interesting images of monkey’s faces.
The overall condition is good. The original nickel finish is 90%. The markings are clear and legible. The original hard rubber grips are in good condition. The bore is in good condition. The action on this revolver is currently nonfunctioning.
