World War II Dated “1942” w Sling
Here we present a Soviet Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 Rifle, made in 1942 at the Izhevsk arsenal. This rifle would have been a participant in some of the most impactful events in the 20th century. World War I had ended not long ago, and 1942 was the dead heat of World War II.
This specimen is dated “1942” and marked with the Soviet hammer and sickle. It is chambered in the 7.62x54R cartridge, with a magazine capacity of 5. This rifle also includes a canvas sling.
The overall condition is very good. It has been arsenal refurbished. The blue finish is 90%. The markings are clear. The numbers match. The stock is in good shape. The bore bright with sharp rifling. The action is excellent.
