This is a rare Model 42 with a Winchester donut post factory vent rib and factory installed Cutts Compensater. It is all original and in excellent condition. The serial number is 143978 which places its mfg year as 1957. There is no choke designation of any kind on the barrel. The barrel length is 28 inches.The gun is in excellent condition and all original. The pictures tell the story.
