Description:
A very nice late 1950's S&W Model 17 (no dash) K-22 Masterpiece. The 6-shot, 4-screw frame revolver is fitted with a 6 inch pinned barrel, diamond checkered wood grips, patridge target front sight, adjustable rear sight, color case-hardened hammer and trigger, is blue finished, and chambered in .22 LR.. It is in excellent original condition, retaining 98% of its original blue finish, with a heavy drag line on the cylinder and some minor surface scratches on the left side of the barrel. The hammer and trigger retain most all of their original finishes and the grips retain most of their original finish with a small chip on the left grip, where the grip butts up to the frame by the medallion. The bore looks like new and the action functions perfectly, with good timing and a tight lock-up. Sorry, no box or paper-work.
