Description:
The Dakota Model 76 is one of the most desirable hunting rifles in the world, proven on every continent, in every climate and on every type of game. Exemplifying the very best of bolt action innovation with exquisite lines and impeccable shot to shot precision, it has deservedly taken its place among the legendary rifles of the 20th and 21st centuries.
This 375 H&H Magnum African has a highly upgraded stock with a shadow line Monte Carlo cheekpiece, hand cut wrap around checkering including the grip, an ebony forend tip and ebony cross bolt plugs. The receiver, bottom metal (drop belly straddle floorplate), grip cap, and quick release 30mm Talley rings and bases are case colored. The bolt handle is rust blued and the remaining metal is matte blued. The receiver, bolt knob, bottom metal, Talley rings, quarter rib, barrel band, front sight and grip cap are engraved with a foliate arabesque pattern. A three blade quarter rib rear sight and banded, hooded front fiber optic sight sit atop the 24” barrel. The satin finish stock has a Pachmayr recoil pad on it that yields a 14” length of pull. The front barrel band and rear inset sling swivel studs make installing a sling a snap. Factory test fired only. Weight is 9.3 lbs.
