Description:
Vintage Ruger 44 carbine " Deerstalker" rifle in very nice condition. Has been hunted and does have some wear but over all a very nice and rare old carbine manufactured in 1962. Very limitied amount made with "Deerstalker" on rifle, around 3500 total. Ithaca lawsuit forced Ruger to discontinue the name in 1962. Thus a rare rifle and much more collectible than the standard 44 carbine. Just some info for those of you who dont know the difference. Blue is very nice as well as wood. Both have a bit of wear but nothing bad, just light marks on wood and wear around the edges on metal. Bore is in very nice shape. Wood has a very nice grain pattern and does not have any cracks. Will make a fantastic addition to your collection.
