Description:
Remington model 725 in the hard to find 270 Win.Built for only a few years in the late 1950s,the 725 was brought out by Remington to compete with Winchesters featherweight model 70.The rifle proved to be too expensive to build and was replaced by the model 700.this rifle was built in 1958.It is in outstanding all original condition retaining 98% of the original blue and wood finish.The bore is mint with sharp rifling.The rifle still has the original aluminum buttplate.The 725s are very collectible and are a great hunting rifle as well. The 270 caliber 725s are hard to find because Remington was pushing their 280 Remington cartridge at the time and did not make many rifles in Winchesters 270 caliber.C&R eligible.
