Description:
30” Crown steel barrels with 2 ¾” chambers, choked .025 right and .040 left. Solid rib with dual white beads. Right barrel is marked L.C. SMITH TRAP GRADE and the left is marked HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. MFR’S FULTON, N.Y. USA. The barrels appear to have been reblued and retain 99% finish. Bores are bright and shiny. The receiver and side plates have Trap Grade engraving with a group of hunters shooting at a flushing bird on the left and a single hunter on the right. Scroll engraving finishes out the engraving on the receiver and trigger guard. The receiver and sideplates retain 97+% case color which is darkening predominantly on the side plates. There appears to be a layer of lacquer applied to the receiver and side plates. The forend iron retains most of it’s also darkened color. The trigger guard retains 98% original bluing. Single selective trigger, non-automatic safety and ejectors. The pistol grip stock is point checkered in a two point pattern. It retains most of its original finish with light handling marks scattered throughout. The forearm is three point checkered, retains 85% finish with a few very light handling marks and a small crack at the right rear. Length of pull is 14 1/2” over a Hawkins recoil pad. Drop at comb: 1 1/2”, Drop at heel: 3 1/4”. Weight: 7.6 lbs. The ejector timing needs adjusted.
