Description:
The Dakota Model 76 is one of the most desirable hunting rifles in the world, proven on every continent, in every climate and on every type of game. Exemplifying the very best of bolt action innovation with exquisite lines and impeccable shot to shot precision, it has deservedly taken its place among the legendary rifles of the 20th and 21st centuries.
This 375 H&H African has an upgraded stock with a shadow line Monte Carlo cheekpiece, hand cut point wrap around checkering, an ebony forend tip and ebony cross bolt plugs. The receiver, bolt shroud, Talley bases, bottom metal (drop belly straddle floorplate) and grip cap are case colored. The remaining metal is matte blued. A three blade quarter rib rear sight and set back (for easy carry during safari) banded, window hooded fiber optic front sight sit atop the 24” barrel. The satin finish stock has a Pachmayr recoil pad on it that yields a 13 7/8” length of pull. The front barrel band and rear inset sling swivel studs make installing a sling a snap.
