Description:
Here is a very nice example of a Weatherby XXII DELUXE in rare tube feed version. This rifle appears to have seen minimal use. I believe this one to be in its original condition, an early Japan version which were of a higher quality than the ones made prior in Italy. These rifles are notoriously accurate semi-auto. Again, this is the better quality Japan made version. These rifles have a single shot selector switch on the side that when engaged operates in single shot only mode. Switch it back and you have a semi auto with a nice tubular magazine. Handy feature. It comes with a like new matching Weatherby 4x50 scope with nice clear glass and a duplex reticle. This is a rare piece that is certain to continue to appreciate nicely in the future. I would call the scope and metal finishes 98% plus. I will call the beautiful wood stock a conservative 98%. This one lived most of it's life in a safe and is from a bygone era of pride of workmanship in a quality rifle. They don't get any more honest than this gem do not miss this great investment for a great gun.
