Description:
This is a wonderfully built German Simson 12 gauge double in fantastic condition. Double triggers, extractors, 2 3/4" cambers, F/F chokes, sideclips, cocking indicators, automatic safety, locking side bolt, cheek piece, and sling swivels--all the features of a classic German double. Built in Suhl in September of 1962, she has perfect shiny bores, 28 1/4" long barrels which are uncut and correspond to some metric measurement, with a single brass sighting bead. Every screw head is engraved, perfectly aligned, and the slots are all pristine. No screw has been turned on this gun. 14 5/8" LOP to front trigger and a 1 5/8" DAC. Weighs in at a moderate 6 lbs, 13 ozs. Lots of case colors and original blue remaining. Action is tight. Beyond all that, I will let the high resolution photos tell the rest of the story.
