American Buck and Ball Gun. Shotgun barrel is 10 gauge. Rifle barrel is approximately .38 caliber (probably .36 caliber with patch would be about right). Barrels are 29¾” and overall length is 46”. Locks, hammers, and Tang are leaf scroll engraved. Trigger guard, butt plate, and cap box all have leaf floral engraved in “German silver”. Rifle barrel has an adjustable set trigger. The stock has very good checkering. No chips or cracks, stock is solid. The stock has a large star of German silver inlaid into the cheek piece. Rifle barrel is marked “Fine Laminated Steel”. Tiny letters “MN” are on the right side of the rifle barrel just above the ramrod pipe at the rear. Rifle barrel has a fixed rear sight with two folding leaves. Bore in the shotgun barrel is very good and mostly shiny. The rifle barrel is very good with strong rifling. Fine buck and ball gun!
