11mm caliber, 31" barrel, S/N D17282. Bolt numbered 82565. Blade front sight with ladder rear sight marked "2, 3, 350 and 4." on left side. Further marked "AF" with two proof marks. Left side of receiver marked "MANUFACTURE IMPERIALE/Mutzig" and "Mle 1866". Right side of barrel marked "M*1867" and "MI" with "E" proof mark. Further proof marks on barrel shank, buttplate, and trigger guard. "P" mark behind rear sling swivel. Includes non-original leather sling. Condition:
Good condition. Barrel has rust throughout with a dark coloration on barrel band and trigger guard. Chamber has a lighter gunmetal coloration. Action is functional. Stock has blemishes consistent with age and use. Bore shinny bright. Gun is in original needle fire configuration and has not been converted to metalic cartridge. Orriginal rubber seal present. Needle is not broken.
