Large European ANTIQUE Double Barrel SxS Pistol
With Delicate Mother of Pearl Inlaid Stock
Here we present an antique Double Barrel Percussion Pistol, made circa 1850 in Europe. This large side by side pistol would have been worn on the belt for defense. The bores are gaping at .50 caliber. The handle of this pistol features beautiful and colorful floral designs in Mother of Pearl. Each side of the grip has a panel containing a budding vine, with a border around the pommel and a cross with tiny stars on the bottom of the pommel.
The overall condition is very good. The metal surfaces have a nice gray patina. There are no markings present. The grips are in very good condition with beautiful artwork floral designs. The bores are smooth and in good condition. The action on this pistol is excellent.
