Description:
This is a very nice Rock Island Arsenal model 1903 military rifle. The receiver was made sometime in 1920 or later, the barrel is dated 12-25 and the bayonet is dated 1919. The only stamps present on the wood are a single circle P proof mark. The finish on the steel is scuffed some but still very strong. The walnut stock and upped hand guard are very good with combat dings and dents. The bayonet is a Rock Island Arsenal and in great condition. There are no hardness issues with the receiver.
