Description:
Serial #50543, 7.63mm (.30 Mauser), 5 1/2" barrel with a very good bore that has mild freckling within the grooves. This pistol has mixed numbers and retains 80-85% of the original dull blue finish with some fading to slightly mottled gray along the exposed edges and bearing surfaces, as well as a swath of smooth, unpitted gray metal at the rear of the frame and receiver. The walnut 36 groove grips are not numbered, and have small handling marks and minor blemishes in the dark oil finish on either side. The pistol is housed in a matching numbered, modern-made wooden holster/stock that has scattered small handling marks and minor blemishes throughout. This is a very good example of a Pre-War Broomhandle Mauser with a great accessory, and would make a splendid addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
