Description:
A Less common example of a post war aluminum hilted command or dagger. This well made piece shows a 7" blade blackened with the later Wilkinson sword logo. The blued cross guard is unmarked. The hilt is knurled aluminum with a smooth bolster and a brass screw disk. This example was one possibly built by the J. Newill & Sons for reference see Commando Dagger by Leroy Thompson page 134 and page 64. This piece came froma collection of knives sourced out of South Africa. We cannot verify anything related to this example other than present. it has a very well built post war FS Dagger, identical if not the same dagger as show in the above reference.
