Description:
Original US Military 45 Auto dummy cartridges. This box dates to 1944. Steel case 2 drilled holes and empty primer pocket. The head stamp is E C 4 (1944). This scarce box was built at Evansville Ordnance plant. The label indicates 45 M 1921 which was the designation for the Dummy cartridges. This box contains all of its' original dummy cartridges that remain in excellent plus condition to find a complete WWII Box is not an easy task. The survival rate of these appears to be very low. This item fits in with various collections.
