Description:
Serial #578, .38 ACP, 6" barrel with a very good, bright bore that has some darker freckling within the grooves. This pistol has a matching number on the slide and retains 95-97% of a very nice reapplied blue finish over softened, but still legible markings. Additional, Canadian RCMP registration numbers have been stamped onto the frame on the right side, and on the underside ahead of the trigger guard, while a small and unobtrusive import mark is present on the lip of the magazine well. The latecheckered Colt hard rubber grips are in fine-excellent shape with some minor handling marks and small blemishes, as well as some flattening of the points. A single, original magazine is included. An e-mail from Colt confirms that the pistol was shipped on August 7, 1900 to Colt's agency in San Francisco. This is a great looking, unaltered Model 1900 pistol in fine refinished condition, and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
