Description:
Serial #67385, .32-20 (.32 WCF), 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This nice looking revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, barrel, extractor, and yoke with the metal retaining 90-95% of the original blue finish that has some mild silvering at the muzzle, on some of the high edges, and a light turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger retain about 80-85% of their vivid original color case-hardening with some fading to dull pewter gray along the edges, and there are a few very small peen marks on the edges of one of the cylinder flutes. The checkered, diamond-center, walnut grips are correct and numbered to the gun on the interior in pencil. They are in fine shape with only very minor handling marks and blemishes on either side, as well as some mild flattening of the points. The revolver is accompanied by a 2017 dated S&W factory letter listing a ship date of January 12, 1916 to Folsom Arms Co. in New York City. This is a very nice example of a desirable .32-20 Hand Ejector and rates fine-near excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
