Description:
Serial #4574, 9mm Para., 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an “S/42" coded pistol with 1937 chamber date and all-matching numbered metal components that retains 90-95% of the original blue finish with gray fading at the muzzle, along the projecting edges, and on the bearing surfaces of the toggle and bolt. Additionally, the original white filling is still intact on the “GESICHERT" marking. The checkered wooden grips are numbered in pencil on the interior (“4684") and have some light wear throughout with flattening of the points on either side, mainly around the butt. A single non-matching aluminum-base magazine is included. This is a fine-near excellent example of a late 30's pre-war Luger. FFL or C&R
