Description:
Serial #C271189, .38 Special, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor. The metal retains practically all of the original blue finish with only a faint turn-ring on the cylinder, and a few traces of silvering on some of the high edges. The hammer and trigger have also retained nearly all of the original color case-hardening with only hints of gray forming at the edges. The checkered walnut diamond-center grips are numbered to the gun and are in excellent shape with barely noticeable flattening of the points. This is a splendid post-war S&W that is in excellent condition, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
