Description:
Serial #B1746, .30-06, 22" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle that retains 95-97% of the original parkerized finish that has silvered at the muzzle, along some of the projecting edges, and on the bearing surfaces of the receiver around the ejection port and operating handle slot. The right side of the receiver has the small Dutch colonial five-pointed star acceptance stamp, and there are some mild spots of freckling on the left side. The walnut forend and buttstock are in fine-near excellent condition with scattered minor handling marks and surface blemishes as well. The rifle is mechanically excellent, and comes with a M1907 leather sling installed. This is a splendid example of a desirable 1941 Johnson, in excellent overall condition, that would make a fine addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
