Description:
American Browning A-5 12 gauge. When the Germans occupied the manufacturing plant in Hatsal, Belgium, Browning turned to Remington Arms to produce the A5 shotgun. They were called the American Brownings and were produced from the late 1930's till around 1947. This gun has a 28 inch full choke barrel. The metal finish still retains about 90% of the original rust blue. The forend is original with beautiful checkering and is solid with no cracks. The buttstock is not factory original but is probably a Remington replacement without any checkering. The gun is solid and would make a great hunting gun.
