Description:
16 gauge, 28″ barrels, 2 1/2″ chambers. Chokes measure .023 Right and .025 Left. Full length matted rib with steel front bead, marked “Parker Bros. Makers Meriden CT USA Trojan Steel” with dolls head extension. Bores are bright and shiny. Double triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Full pistol grip buttstock, checkered in two point pattern, with 14″ length of pull to front trigger over black serrated lined hard rubber buttplate (chipped at toe). Drop at comb: 1 3/4", drop at heel: 2 3/4". Splinter forend checkered in diamond pattern. No. 1 frame is unengraved and is marked “Parker Bros.” on both sides. Weight: 6.5 lbs. CONDITION: Barrels retain 98% original bluing. Receiver and floorplate retain 97% original case color which has darkened. Trigger guard retains 30% original bluing. Buttstock and forend retain most of their original finish with a few light handling marks. Mechanics are excellent. A nice original Parker shotgun.
