Description:
The Dakota Model 76 is one of the most desirable hunting rifles in the world, proven on every continent, in every climate and on every type of game. Exemplifying the very best of bolt action innovation with exquisite lines and impeccable shot to shot precision, it has deservedly taken its place among the legendary rifles of the 20th and 21st centuries.
This 458 Lott African has an upgrade stock with a shadow line Monte Carlo cheekpiece, hand cut custom Fleur de Lis checkering (wrap around on forend), an ebony forend tip and ebony cross bolt plugs. The receiver, bottom metal (drop belly straddle floorplate) and grip cap are case colored. The bolt handle is rust blued and has three panel checkering. The remaining metal is matte blued. A single blade quarter rib rear sight and banded, hooded fiber optic front sight sit atop the 24” barrel. The satin finish stock has a Pachmayr recoil pad on it that yields a 13 7/8” length of pull. The front barrel band and rear inset sling swivel studs make installing a sling a snap. There are some rack marrs above the trigger on the left side of the stock and in the forearm checkering (pictured). Weight is 9.5 lbs.
