FINE WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION .44-40 CAL. SADDLE RING CARBINE CA. 1882. 100% original and matching with 20” round barrel stamped with crisp “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS, NEW HAVEN, CT.” address with the King’s Improvement 1860 and 1866 patent dates. Winchester carbine ladder rear sight and block front sight. Extra nice looking with approximately 50% original blue mixed with dark handling patina. Nice crisp metal. Has all the original parts and screws in good condition. Stock and forend with the original finish showing moderate use and handling patina. Old cattle brand very neatly carved on the left side of the butt stock. Tight working order. Bore with dark worn rifling. Handsome all original Model 1873 carbine.
