Stevens "44" In rare 25-25 centerfire. Gun has most of its original case color remaining, beautiful wood , schuetzen style but plate, rear Tang and front beech sights.Heavy half octagon barrel has excellent bore and almost all of its original finish. Great example of a stevens single shot rifle in a rare caliber. There is some brown spotting on the reciever finish on one side. it is smooth to the touch just a discoloration, not pitting, and doesnt detract from the overall great case color finish on the gun.
