This amazing Winchester made in 1882 was last in the hands of J. Buelow, who inherited the rifle from his Great Uncle Charles Orlian Wing (B: 2-19-1885 D: 12-15-1967). Based on the notarized note place in the butt stock of the rifle, in 1920, Mr. Wing, then living in Bemidji Minnesota, traded a team of horses to his Ojibwe Indian neighbor for the rifle.
