Description:
Barrel set #1: 20 gauge, 28″ barrels, 3″ chambers. Chokes measure .016 RT and .028 LT. Full length matted rib with dual ivory beads. Barrel set #2: 16 gauge Chromox Fluid steel barrels, 2 ¾” chambers. Chokes measure .012 RT and .025 LT. Full length matted rib with single silver bead. Both sets of bores are bright and shiny. Single, selective trigger, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock, checkered in two point pattern. 13 1/4” length of pull over a serrated hard rubber butt plate. Splinter forearm checkered in two point pattern. Action is engraved in late “A” style with approx 60% coverage large scrolling shaded acanthus. “ANSLEY H. FOX” is in band on each side. Condition: Both sets of barrels retain 99% bluing with various light handling marks. Frame retains 30% original color. Floorplate retains 40% original color. Trigger guard retains little original bluing. Forearm iron retains original color on the inside only. Buttstock and forend retain most of their original finish with various light handling marks. Drop at comb: 1 1/2”, Drop at heel: 2 5/8”, Weight: 6.2 lbs with the 16 gauge barrels installed. Mechanics are good. Made in Philadelphia, PA.
