Description:
30” Nitro steel barrels with 2 3/4” chambers, choked .004 right and .035 left. Single plane concave rib with dual ivory beads. Right barrel is marked L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE and the left is marked HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. MFR’S FULTON, N.Y. USA. The barrels retain 98% original finish with scattered small rust spots, light handling marks and a shallow dent in the left barrel 6” from the muzzle. Bores are bright and shiny. The receiver and side plates have the typical Specialty Grade engraving. The trigger guard is engraved with a scroll pattern. The receiver retains 40% original finish. The sideplates retain little original finish. The trigger guard retains 60% original bluing. Single selective trigger, non-automatic safety and ejectors. Straight grip stock and forend retain most of their original finish with numerous handling marks. Length of pull is 14” over a serrated hard rubber butt plate. Drop at comb: 1 3/4”, Drop at heel: 2 13/16”. Weight: 7.8 lbs. Mechanics are excellent.
