Cogswell & Harrison Sandhurst, 12 bore, 2 1/2" chambers, 1 1/8 oz. nitro proof, original 30" fluid steel barrels choked .012 IC and .019 Mod., smooth concave game rib engraved "Cogswell & Harrison Ltd, 168 Picadilly London", 15 3/8" LOP over a leather pad, 1 1/2" DAC, 1 7/8" DAH, 1/8" cast off, 6 lbs. 14 oz., ejectors, straight grip, splinter forend, rib extension with hidden crossbolt 3rd bite, about 50% coverage scroll engraving, renewed case colors, highly figured replacement stock. Excellent overall restored condition. This is a seldom seen higher grade Avant Tout model with sideplates, beautifully shaped rounded action and sideplates. A 1917 gun with a period leather trunk case that is in very good condition but with much scuffing on exterior. Bores .733 and .736. Barrel min. wall thickness .028 and .030.
