This is a Colt Bisley in 38-40 WCF cal. This Bisley is all matching Numbers with factory eteched serial number inside grip. Bore is very shiny, locks up tight and has all 4 hammer clicks.This is Montana Colt ,has never left the State,Was told too me that Great granddaddy bought it new in Helena, Mt in 1912 ,, story continued as this bisley was in a gun fight back in the early days of building this State ,Montana. Around the time when people like ole Charles Russell, was living in Great Falls ,Mt pencil drawing log homes on paper napkins in his local tavern in Great Falls in trade for beers.
