Description:
Colt's Model Python with factory "High Polished Royal Blue Finish" six inch .357 magnum. The serial number of this example is 1577X placing date of manufacture in 1960-61. The original factory blue finish is untouched and gorgeous. The left side plate has been engraved with the initials "LB". The stocks are two piece Ivory with carved Lions head on the right panel. The photos do not show the toned patina of the stocks to a very nice mild yellow ($600.00) You have to look very hard to see a cylinder ring. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect.
