Description:
Extremely nice German KAR98 bayonet. Manufactured by MUNOLOS in the 1940s. This is a fine example of their quality workmanship. The blade still retains about 97% of the original blue, only showing signs of thinning where it comes in contact with the sheath. The blue has started to thin on the hilt and rear grip area. The bakelite grips are near perfect. The metal sheath is serial numbered to the blade and also has about 97% of its original blue finish. The frog is in excellent condition with all the stitching still in tact. One of the small rivets is missing from the back and some rough areas on the front is all that keeps it from being in excellent condition.
