Description:
1949 Colt Pre War/Post War Super .38 Automatic Pistol with the desirable "fat barrel". These early post war 38 Supers utilized war time production parts including 45 slides so the outside diameter of the barrel was the same size as a 45. The slide and frame flats are still bright. The original finish is in excellent condition with a light disassembly mark and other very fine scattered handling marks. Overall the finish rates about 98%. The bore is clean and bright. The trigger has a crisp clean break, and the grips are beautiful with no shrinkage. Also included is a spare magazine and original flyer with sectional view, detailed description, and operation/disassembly instructions.
