Description:
Totally original condition LC Smith Crown Trap completed in 1929 for Charles A. Bogert, a renowned trap shooter and gun shop owner in the Cleveland, Ohio area ( letter included ). This gun is 100% original both in configuration and finish except for a replaced recoil pad. Totally tight on face with no wiggle. Barrels ring like a bell. Regarding the barrels, it is worth noting that almost everywhere measures well over .030 wall thickness with my Hosford gauge. Case color in protected areas only. Original wood finish and barrel blue in excellent condition with minor handling marks throughout. This is an absolutely perfect user condition gun in a relatively hard to find configuration. Honest survivors that haven't been messed with are becoming harder and harder to find. Quality trades respectfully considered.
