After the new weapon was accepted, production was assigned to DWM and to the Royal Arsenal at Erfurt. Erfurt only produced the new Artillery Luger for one year, 1914. DWM, on the other hand, produced the Artillery Luger from 1914 until the end of WWI in 1918.
