Description:
SOLD Bore in the 26" barrel is bright and shiny. It will rate a nine on a one to ten scale. Most of the original barrel blue remains. Notice the barrel is a special order half round half octagon. The rifle comes with a button magazine. Blue on the receiver is gone, which is very common for Winchesters of this era. It was made in 1918. Some of the original case color remains on the lever. Wood to metal fit is excellent. The wood may have experienced a very mild sanding. The metal is just slightly higher than the wood in a couple of places. Also, there is a very minor gap in the forearm cap. Wood is special X and is so indicated on the inside tang. Numbers on the wood and the tang match. The checkered stock and forearm still look nice and are in good condition. I have taken a lot of pictures which clearly and fairly show the condition of the wood. The action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. All markings are clear, complete, original, and correct. You will like this .32ws.
