Description:
This Remington 870 Competition 12 Ga. was manufactured between 1980 and 1986. It has a 30 ventilated rib with Full choke. The Competition Model has a longer forearm than the standard Model 870. The recoil absorbing piston in the magazine makes it basically a gas operated single shot. Produced by Remington to incorporate the gas operated recoil reduction system of their Model 1100. The Competition works well at eliminating the harsh kick of a fixed action traditional Model 870.

Metal Condition: Very good. Barrel has a couple very minor handling marks and a spot of freckling right side near the bore. Receiver has a couple of minor handling marks and minor freckling on the bottom and on the trigger guard.
Wood Condition: Very good with light handling marks.
Bore Condition: Shiny.
Barrels: 30 inches with a lightly grooved top ventilated rib.
Stock: Diamond checkered grip walnut pistol grip.

Fore End: Diamond checkered grip walnut with finger grooves.
Butt Pad: Remington brown rubber recoil pad.
