Colt 1911 A-1 U.S. Army R/S Inspected Blue finish sent to R.I.A. in the 50"s and was NOT refinished and retains its origianl Colt brushed blue finish and the parts were not mixed up and shows burnishing in the R/S stamped after the colt brushed finish. The frame and slide numbers do match, has the Colt marked barrell with a small "P" stamped on the bottom of the chamber and correct type hollow back grips for a 1941 manufacture. See pictures for details on the R.I.A. and the F/K for Frank Krack who was the R.I.A. inspector at the time and the Flaming Ball . Really rare to see one like this thats been through an arsonal and not refinished. Must be shipped to a FFL or C&R . Payment accepted Bank Check or postal money orders .
