Payment Types Accepted: Bank check Description: Game scene engraved single shot stalking rifle in 9.3x72r. Red stag engraved on right receiver, wild boar on left receiver. Top of action has a cocking indicator. Top rib of barrel is nicely checkered to reduce glare. Dealer’s or maker’s name box on rib is empty. Most of the original blue on barrel, case colors on action fading but bright in places. Markings under barrel indicate June 1907 manufacture. BUG proof marks. 11835 marking under barrel indicates fractional barrel gauge diameter equating to .340 inch which is somewhat common on 9.3s. This rifle is unusual for one of these Tell-type rifles in that it is chambered for a serious hunting caliber and has quality game scene engraving. Left forend has an imperceptible repair.
