This Winchester was produced in 1899. The carbine's serial number is 24313. It has the correct 22 inch carbine barrel. The sights are original to this gun. The bore is in very good condition. The stock and forend have no damage or cracks. The carbine ring is missing. The ring stud is intact. This Winchester was restored many years ago. The bluing is very well done. The polish work preserved the lettering and marks very carefully. there is no screw hole dipping or flat screw heads. This is a professional job on this carbine. The carbine shows hardly any use after the restoration. The bluing now would rate a 98% and better. The wood is in very fine condition. This is a very fine condition carbine that would show well in any collection. Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
