Description:
Remington model 1885-87, 12 gauge hammer Damascus double with 30 inch barrel. The barrels have mirror bores, and ring true when struck. Both barrels are choked .027" which is between modified and full. With the forend removed, the barrels are tight at the action. The locks are rebounding, function as new, and show 50 percent case color. Both stocks have original varnish finish, and good checkering. The original Remington butt plate is in fine condition.
