Original owner purchased this gun new from his local gun store, had a Pachmayr Deluxe recoil pad installed along with a Weaver K-4 Period Scope and mounts, and took it on one weekend hunt. Other than for sighting in the rifle the gun has never been fired. It was then put into a closet where it remained until the owner's move to Florida (where most good guns end up). And then to us. I think it would be very hard to improve upon this featherweight .308. Optics are excellent - blue about 100% - stock finish about 99% - handling marks very minimal. An awful nice featherweight in a very popular caliber.
