Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Certified Check, Money Order Description: Antique REMINGTON New Model POLICE Revolver With Stag Grips & Nickel Finish Here we present an antique Remington New Model Police Revolver, made circa 1870 in Ilion, New York. This revolver was designed for defensive carry and would have been a good companion in a small holster. This revolver would have been modified to accept metallic cartridges near the expiration of the Smith & Wesson owned Rollin White Patent, which prevented other companies from using the bored through cylinder until 1869. This specimen would have been sold with both a bored through cylinder for cartridges, as well as this percussion cylinder. However, only the percussion cylinder remains. The overall condition is good. The period nickel finish is about 85%. The markings are legible. The stag grips add a lot of character and are smooth from use. The old percussion loading lever is absent. The bore is sharp and clean. The action is excellent. Here is one that looks like it just came out of the Wild West! Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 4-1/2 inches. Caliber: .36 percussion Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE.
