This revolver is in the classic .357 Magnum caliber. The model 27 was reintroduced to the civilian market in 1948, built on Smith & Wesson's "N" size frame. This revolver comes with a six-shot cylinder, standard hammer, standard trigger, and an adjustable rear sight. It has an "N"-prefix serial number, dating this gun to about 1975. This Smith & Wesson does not have the newer hammer system with a transfer bar, making this revolver an instant classic.This revolver has a beautiful dark blue finish with small specs of freckling throughout and a bright and clear bore. It has no box or paperwork.
