Presented for you today is a used Colt Model 1911 in .45 ACP. Carrying serial number 457652, this iconic American handgun is dated from 1918.
Metal shows some age-appropriate pitting. Frame and slide appears to have been re-blued by third party. Lines and markings are clean. Bore shows age-appropriate pitting and strong rifling. Grips appear to be original and are in good condition.
This Colt 1911 comes with two original magazines (one with lanyard loop), leather magazine pouch (marked “Q.M.C. JEFF. 1922 H.E.K.”) and leather U.S. holster. Small amounts of verdigris exist, presumably from storage, which can be cleaned.
