Description:
This an older Springfield Single Barrel Shotgun by the J Stevens Arms Company in Chicopee Falls, Mass - that much later became Savage Arms. Gun has a 30 inch full choke barrel marked Selected Forged Steel, a very nicely case colored action , etc. Barrel with most all original blue. Action with most all vivid case colors except on bottom where it was hand carried. Buttstock is solid. Forearm has slight crack. Varnish has been added to the stock and forearm at some time. A great example of how nice these cheaper guns were once manufactured in days gone by.
