Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: Manufactured from 1894 to 2006, the Winchester Model 94 was manufactured for 112 years and was one of the most successful lever action rifles of all-time. There are very few designs as universally recognized as the legendary Winchester Model 94. The Model 94 is reliable, accurate, and built tough, designed to handle inclement weather and years of hard use and abuse. This example is serial number 4312772 and was manufactured in the late 1970's. It is in excellent condition overall and has been used very, very little. The condition of both the outside and inside is extremely clean, and there is little to no evidence of this rifle having been fired outside of test firing. The original factory blue finish rates a solid 98%, and is still very attractive and glossy. The bore in this Winchester is minty and like-new. The rifling has sharp lands and grooves and there is no pitting or erosion visible whatsoever. The receiver does not have any extra holes, and there is no evidence of a scope or receiver-mounted sight ever having been mounted on it. The original Walnut stock set is also in excellent condition. Both the buttstock and forearm are free from cracks or repairs and only show some very small handling/storage marks visible under close inspection. The only potential negative that can be said of this Model 94 Carbine is that somewhere along the line a previous owner had a "White Line" Pachmayer recoil pad installed on the buttstock. Having fired other Model 94's in the past without recoil pads, this is only a negative if you don't plan on shooting it! If you have been looking for a very lightly used, high condition Winchester 94 Carbine to add to your collection and shoot from time to time, this example would be a great choice.
